Synagogue or outdoor houppa for your Jewish wedding in Italy?

Throughout time, Jewish communities that lived in Apulia have regrettably disappeared. Thus, synagogues are very rare in the South of Italy. Today, one and only synagogue remains for the few families that live there and practice their religion. The mygvé

Trani’s synagogue sadly cannot organize the mygvé. Two options exist for future spouses. First the bride can do her mygvé at home. Organization of the religious ceremony

Organizing the religious ceremony in advance is strongly advised. Note that to celebrate their union under a houppa (religious arch), the fiancés must both be Jewish. It can be by birth or after a conversion. For those who dream of an outdoor Jewish wedding ceremony, our team can put the houppa in the place of their choice. A splendid centenarian (maybe millennial) olive tree field is an example of an ideal setting. The groom can break a glass with his right foot in memory of the destruction of Jerusalem’s temple in an idyllic environment.
