PERKS OF CELEBRATING A BEACH WEDDING
One of the first assets of a beach wedding is to enjoy the natural beauty of the setting as a wedding decor. You can celebrate your secular ceremony with your feet in the sand in a poetic and exotic atmosphere. The sound of the waves and the radiant sun will sublimate this unique moment of your life. Besides, a beach wedding will definitely make you and your guests wander and get lost in the beauty of the scenery. The idle summer atmosphere offers the ideal escape within only a few hour-flight from you. The relaxed atmosphere of the seaside is the chance to opt for a friendly and cosy cocktail lounge. The wedding dinner will fit perfectly into the exotic bubble and it will be the opportunity to plan a local wedding menu with fish and seafood of the region. A beach wedding also gives you the chance to bet on original and bright animations with a fireworks show for example.
HOW TO ORGANISE A BEACH WEDDING PROPERLY?
The Lidi (Italian seaside venues) agree to close their doors only before the wedding celebration or you must agree to pay a very high amount for total privatisation. The reason is that day revenues are too high for them to close much before the wedding celebration starts. Since the institutions and service providers need a minimum amount of time to clean and organise their services, the wedding celebration can only begin in the late evening if you do not pay for a large amount of money. We will help you plan the time of your ceremony so that you have enough time to set up everything and still have some daylight for the ceremony and the photoshoot that follows. If you go for a beach wedding, you will have to deal with humidity especially during summer so make sure to inform your guests so that they are well equipped on your wedding day.
HOW CAN A BEACH WEDDING BE PROBLEMATIC?
First of all, the Lidi can be rented for a wedding but part of the beach will still remain public. It is impossible to privatise a beach entirely: The European law demands that access must still be granted to the general public. The coastline also remains public and everyone has the right to swim even in front of The Lido and to attend the ceremony from the sea or the shore if they wish. Our team will obviously be there to ask the onlookers to be respectful but we will not be in the right to compel them to do so. Moreover, the Lidi are among the establishments controlled by rules in force in terms of music even if the authorities are quite flexible with them.
