An Italian houppa

Claudia and Alexandre sealed their union with a four-day celebration in Puglia, blending Jewish traditions with a quintessential Italian touch: the olive tree. The festivities began with a beach party on the wild Adriatic coast, where they celebrated the Henna ritual, which culminated in the bride’s Mikveh, the traditional purifying bath. The following day, Claudia and Alexandre exchanged vows under a magnificent Mediterranean-inspired Houppa. Their rabbi, flown in from France, blessed them in front of nearly 300 guests from around the world. The celebration continued into the early hours, with performances by artists who traveled from Paris. Finally, the Shabbat dinner concluded the festivities in a warm, yet solemn atmosphere, marking the beautiful union of the couple. Mazal Tov!
